The renovated room was quite comfortable to stay in.
Upon check-in, I noticed a persistent dripping sound from the sink tap, quite annoying. The low mechanical banging noise throughout the night kept me awake. Unfortunately, the hotel staff seemed uninterested in addressing these issues, frustrating.

The venue was wonderful old, I enjoyed the stay and the location was marvellous close to shopping, and eateries. I had airy, functional room with tea, aircon, washing machines. Coffee, tea, toast, cereals and boiled eggs provided for breakfast was fantastic! The pool was nice and I had hot drinks in the Irish bar. Moreover, they offered public parking on-site. Cairns Regional Gallery was centrally located close to the hotel.

I stayed in a Premium King Plus Single room for 4 nights, and I loved the spaciousness! The room included a large desk with a lamp and USB ports, perfect for catching up on work. The air conditioning was efficient, keeping the room cool, and I appreciated the cleanliness throughout my stay. The balcony was a nice spot to sip my morning coffee and enjoy the view after a day of exploring Cairns.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable due to an ill-fitting mattress protector.

It was fairly clean, the stuff was efficient and extremely friendly, plus the service was great. The breakfast had a wide range of options and coffee, tea, toast, cereal and boiled eggs where nice. The location of the hotel was good and perfect - relatively near Cairns Regional Council. And it was close to convention centres and banks. My stay here was very pleasant.

I loved how close everything was! ☀️ Just a stroll to Rusty's Markets and local cafes. My room was cozy, but the plumbing noises at night were a real bummer.

The rooms with a microwave and a double bed, as example. Favourable and perfect location, 10 minutes' walk to Muddy's Playground❤

The location was ideal for exploring nearby markets and attractions. Being close to a swimming pool was a bonus, yet the pool's non-functionality was disappointing. While the room was spacious and reasonably clean, requests for additional pillows went unanswered. Despite these issues, the room's size and the friendliness of the staff were great.

Centrally located
It was extremely loud the whole night through restaurants and street cleaning. The problem might have been bearable with windows that close properly.
